The vitamin is probably the most studied of all the different vitamins, and it has shown significant enhancement of bodily immune properties in the obstruction of the common cold, the buildup and maintenance of the human immune system, and overall functioning of the bodily systems. Since it is water-soluble, it is difficult to take too much of the vitamin.
